Our infant classrooms offer a comfortable, nurturing, and protected “home away from home” where your baby can thrive and grow. Our emphasis is on providing a loving, healthy, and safe place for your child to feel secure. Erik Erikson identified an important event that must be conquered in each stage before progression to the next stage could occur. Birth to two year olds move through a stage of Trust vs. Mistrust. Children must feel safe and secure in order to learn. Undue stress compromises learning and moving forward with social/emotional development. Through the guidance of our loving teachers, babies establish healthy bonding which, in turn, helps them develop mobility, intellectual, and social skills for a lifetime of happiness and success. Seeing that every baby has a different routine, we believe in partnering with parents to create individualized care routines for each infant.
As a parent, you deserve to know everything that happens while your little one is in our care. We make great efforts to ensure that our families are always in the know. We love to show and tell you about your child’s experiences through daily communications with our teachers, as well as providing you with your baby’s personal daily progress form. Our teachers support breastfeeding and formula-feeding families, as well as encouraging parents to utilize the type of diapers (cloth or disposeable) that work best for them.
