Originally a city girl from Kansas City, Treva, and her husband spent the last 20 years raising their two children near family in a close-knit community in central Kansas. Having attended Kansas State University for undergrad, Treva and her husband longed to return to the Little Apple, where they met. When their son left for college in the summer of 2021, Treva and her husband felt it was the perfect time to begin their next chapter in a community that they've loved so well, Manhattan!
With a deep-rooted passion for the field of Education, Treva considers herself a lifelong learner. Her diverse career experiences include 20+ years as an educator, serving as a literacy professional, early childhood teacher, high school cheer coach, and most recently, the Director of a private preschool in McPherson, Kansas for 14 years. Treva's love for building close relationships with families and mentoring others is what drives her to always give 110% to her work.
Treva's infectious enthusiasm for her profession has remained strong through her career, staying up to date on best practices through professional development training and continuing education courses. As a proud member of the NAEYC global accreditation organization, Treva recently served on the board of the regional chapter, KSAEYC (Kansas Association for the Education of Young Children). As the Director of the Heritage Square campus, Treva highlights the importance of quality early childhood education and positive environments for children.
“Working at Creche is the cherry on top of my career. The highlight for me is making lasting connections with our amazing team, while also building trusting relationships with the kiddos and their families.”
