A Kansas native, Micah joined the Creche Family in the summer of 2015, while completing her undergraduate degree at Kansas State University. In the spring of 2016, Micah graduated from K-State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies and Human Services, with additional master’s level courses in curriculum and instruction. Soon after, Micah accepted a position as a Lead Infant Teacher for The Cradle at Creche and was later promoted to Program Director.
With her empathetic nature, education, and professional background, Micah contributed substantially to the top scores achieved by the Creche Infant programs through two NAEYC national accreditations. She brings extensive leadership and experience in client relationships focused on supporting the family dynamic; program analysis, solutions implementation, and team mentoring. As a mentor for new teachers entering the field, Micah ensures quality care and excellence in early childhood development practices. Micah serves as an advocate for providing purposeful early interactions and firmly believes that all children—especially infants and toddlers—need a child care setting where they can thrive with loving caregivers who truly understand how to promote their healthy growth and development.
As a mother of two young children herself, Micah shares in the personal joy a family experiences which each new developmental milestone their child achieves. To her, celebrating new discoveries and every new "first" offers some of the most priceless pieces of working with infants and their families. Micah and her husband enjoy raising their two boys on a farm in north-central Kansas.
“I love, love, love tiny babies. My passion is to be able to offer the best care to our families in a way that will be comforting and safe for them.”
