PreK is all about growing confidence through independence! Whether it’s choosing their own activities, putting on their jackets, or completing small tasks, children learn to take ownership of their actions. These little moments of responsibility build a strong sense of capability and pride, giving them the self-assurance to tackle new challenges in kindergarten.
Confidence isn’t just about knowing ABCs and 123s—it’s also about feeling comfortable around peers. In PreK, children develop social skills like sharing, taking turns, and problem-solving through play, group activities, and teamwork. They also learn to express their emotions, handle conflicts, and build friendships, setting the stage for positive interactions in kindergarten.
