Stephanie - Director of Grand Mere

As a longtime resident of Manhattan, Stephanie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kansas State University 2011. Upon graduation, Stephanie embarked on her career in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE), accepting a position as a Para Educator in an Inclusion Special Education preschool classroom. Her love for teaching, working families, and enriching the lives of young children grew more each day, leading her to seek a teaching career at Creche. Admiring the family-oriented atmosphere Creche provided, Stephanie accepted the position of Junior PreK Assistant Teacher in May 2013 and was later promoted to Junior PreK Teacher in August 2014.

As a life-long learner, Stephanie has continued expanding her knowledge as an Early Childhood Education Professional, staying up to date with best practice. The insight gained through completing additional ECE coursework and certified trainings has allowed Stephanie to expand into the broader operations of the Creche Team. After four years, she became an Assistant Director and in early 2019 was named Director of Grand Mere.

Through her years teaching in the classroom, and now in an administrative role, Stephanie describes her biggest accomplishment as having the ability to witness so many children reach their full potential in every area of development. Stephanie is known throughout the program as an individual who leads by example, while focusing on the individual growth and success of every student.
